Please note that all digital product sales are considered final at the time of purchase. This means that no returns or exchanges will be processed after the checkout process has been finalized for your purchase. Shipping & Handling
All physical products are packaged with care and shipped via ground within 3 days of purchase. The exact delivery schedule varies by carrier, but usually no later than 7 days after purchase.
Build Licenses & Copyright Law
When purchasing a home plan online, you're actually purchasing a license to use that home plan / blueprint for the construction of your project. A "single build" license is purchased most commonly by those who are looking to only build one home using the plans. For contractors and / or developers interested in building a home plan more than once, we alternatively offer an "unlimited build" license for most plans as well. If you like one of our home plans but wish to make changes to the design, it's still important that you and / or your designer, architect, engineer, contractor, builder, etc. purchase a building license to use our plan prior to proceeding forward. Specific to Valuehomeplans.com, each home plan is delivered with a unique identifier automatically hidden within the artwork and blueprint sheets (even when printed) which directly ties back to one of our order numbers, customer name, and date of purchase. On a regular basis, our team compares these identifiers to public permit records throughout the US and Canada in efforts to combat copyright infringement and design theft. When we find that any of our home plans have been built and / or duplicated without first purchasing a license to use our design, we do pursue legal action which can result in significant fines and / or jail time for malicious actors.
Standard Exclusions
As our home plans are shipped/delivered for construction all over the US and Canada, it's important to note that individual state licensed stamps are not included in our plans. If your local permitting department requires the stamp of a licensed engineer and / or architect, you will need to hire a local firm that is licensed within the state that which you are planning to build. The good news is, our home plans are extremely comprehensive, so unless your property is within a particularly harsh building environment, the engineer of your choosing will likely not need to make any changes to our plans at all.
